Creating a Spark for Reading!
Using Adobe Spark, as well as other programs, students can create book trailers to show what they know about a book and encourage other students to read the book as well. These book trailers can be linked into our library catalog so that students can see them as they search for books to read. Examples of the project are linked below.

What are our Library Media Center needs for this project?
Chromebook computers for students use.
Why?
After the end of this school year (2018-19) all of the computers in the Library Media Center will be out of date and can no longer be used. So, the library will no longer have ANY computers to use for ANY type of project or research.
What will be the impact on students?
Students will be building 21st Century skills as they use the technology and what they know from reading a book to create a product that can be used by the library. This project covers many reading and technology competencies that students must meet.
